AUVON Pill Reminder

The idea.

Developed for AUVON, this project reimagined medication reminders through a compact tracking mechanism that attaches directly to existing pill bottles and medication containers. Rather than replacing products people already own, it enhances them with a simple visual system that makes daily medication easier to remember.

Designed around daily life.

The reminder features an Adaptive Mounting System, allowing it to be securely attached to a wide variety of pill bottles using a simple adhesive-backed interface. Once installed, users can quickly slide the indicator for each day of the week, providing an immediate visual reference of whether a medication has already been taken.

The mechanism was carefully engineered to deliver smooth, tactile movement while remaining compact, durable, and easy to operate. Every interaction was refined to be intuitive, requiring no batteries, charging, or complicated setup, just a simple action that builds confidence every day.

The design was further optimized through Design for Manufacturing (DFM), prototype development, and engineering validation, ensuring reliable performance while remaining efficient to manufacture.
