The idea.
This project focused on developing a chlorination pipe rig for Earthwise, designed for residential and commercial water treatment applications. The objective was to create a system that simplified installation while making use of readily available components, allowing it to be assembled, maintained, and serviced with confidence.

Designed as a complete mechanical assembly, the rig was carefully modeled to ensure every component worked together as one cohesive system. Standard off-the-shelf fittings were integrated wherever possible, simplifying installation while reducing complexity for both manufacturers and installers.
Beyond the digital model, a fully functional prototype was developed to validate assembly, fit, and real-world operation before deployment. The result is a system engineered not only to perform reliably, but also to be practical to build, install, and maintain.

Following development and validation, the chlorination system was successfully deployed across multiple residential installations and commercial facilities, including the University of Chicago and many jails throughout the United States. Today, it continues to demonstrate how thoughtful engineering can simplify installation while delivering dependable performance in environments where reliability matters most.
