The idea.

Developed for GloFX, SpaceWhip was created to deliver a premium programmable lighting experience in a product that was both accessible and built for real-world performers. The objective was to engineer a solution that maintained the quality, reliability, and visual impact expected from a professional performance product while reducing manufacturing complexity and overall cost.

Every decision was made to create more value without compromising the experience.

The mechanical structure was carefully engineered to achieve the right balance, durability, and grip while seamlessly integrating the RGB LED system and fiber-optic lighting. Internal electronics, structural components, and lighting elements were developed as one cohesive system, creating brilliant light trails without sacrificing comfort or reliability.

Alongside the hardware, a companion mobile application was developed to give performers intuitive control over colors, lighting effects, and programmable modes, allowing the product to adapt to every performance with ease.
